Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the drive motor battery cooling system. Drive Motor Battery Cooling System Draining and Filling

  2. Radiator Surge Tank Nut(1)»Remove[2x]
  3. Radiator Outlet Hose Clip(2)@Radiator Surge Tank Bracket»Remove

  4. Without disconnecting the hoses, reposition the radiator surge tank (1) to gain access to the radiator surge tank bracket (2).

Installation Procedure

  2. Radiator Surge Tank Bracket Bolt(1)»Install and tighten[2x]—Fastener Specifications

  3. Reposition the radiator surge tank (1) onto the radiator surge tank bracket (2).

  4. Radiator Surge Tank Nut(1)»Install and tighten[2x]—Fastener Specifications
  5. Radiator Outlet Hose Clip(2)@Radiator Surge Tank Bracket»Install
  6. Fill the drive motor battery cooling system to the proper level. Drive Motor Battery Cooling System Draining and Filling
  7. Inspect for coolant leaks.
