The solenoid valve directs fluid pressure to the 1-2-3-4 regulator valve that controls the fluid pressure to the 1-2-3-4 clutch.

DTC P2723, P2724 will set with a hydraulic/mechanical condition.

Conditions for Running the DTC
  • DTC P0101–P0103, P0106–P0108, P0171, P0172, P0174, P0175, P0201–P0208, P0300–P0308, P0401, P042E, P0716, P0717, P0722, P0723, P182E = Not set
  • Accelerator Pedal Position=Greater than 0.5%
  • Accelerator pedal position signal = Valid
  • Engine Speed=400 to 7,500 RPM
  • { P2724 }Engine Torque=
  • High Side Driver=Enabled
  • Ignition Voltage=9 to 32 V
  • Transmission Output Speed=Greater than 100 RPM
  • Transmission Fluid Temperature=If −7°C (20°F) or warmer
  • { P2723 }1-2-3-4 Clutch=Applied
  • { P2724 }1-2-3-4 Clutch=Commanded Off

Frequency the DTC runs=Continuously—After the running conditions are met—For greater than 5 s

Circuit/System Verification

Danger: If DTC P2724 is present, the vehicle could have forward propulsion while in neutral. Failure to keep the brake pedal depressed while starting or shifting through the gear ranges may cause the vehicle to move forward resulting in potential vehicle damage and possibly injury or death.
