PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) "iMT" switch:

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Below 50 Ω

Not pressed

10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly.

(b) "DRIVE MODE" switch:

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

"DRIVE -" Side

7 (SEL) - 5 (E)

Pushed and held at "DRIVE +" side

Below 50 Ω

6 (E) - 5 (E)

Pushed and held at "DRIVE -" side

Below 50 Ω

Released (neutral position)

10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly.

(c) Check that the illumination illuminates.

(1) Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the switch, and check the illumination condition of the intelligent manual transmission switch (pattern select switch assembly).

OK:

If the result is not as specified, replace the combination switch assembly.
