2. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER AIR DUCT SPLASH SHIELD SEAL

3. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE DASH PANEL HEAT INSULATOR

8. REMOVE INTAKE AIR RESONATOR

9. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR INLET DUCT

10. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

11. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

12. SEPARATE TRANSMISSION BREATHER HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transaxle)

(1) Disengage the clamp to separate the transmission breather hose sub-assembly from the flexible hose bracket.

13. REMOVE FLEXIBLE HOSE BRACKET (for Automatic Transaxle)

(1) Remove the 2 bolts and flexible hose bracket.

14. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CONVERTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

To prevent burns, do not touch the engine, exhaust manifold or other high temperature components while the engine is hot.

15. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE CLAMP

16. REMOVE OUTLET TURBINE ELBOW GASKET

Remove any peeling residue on the flange surface.
