When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

Perform door unlock operation with door control switch or electrical key transmitter sub-assembly switch.

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE METER MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) Remove the 3 bolts.

(c) Disengage the guide to remove the meter mirror sub-assembly.

3. REMOVE HEADUP DISPLAY WIRE

HINT:

Perform this procedure only when replacement of the headup display wire is necessary.

(a) Disengage the clamp to remove the headup display wire.
