PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK UPPER LOCK BEZEL LH (for LH Side)
(a) for Hatchback:
|
(1) Disengage the 4 claws to remove the rear seatback upper lock bezel LH. |
|
2. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET (for LH Side)
(a) for Sedan:
|
(1) Disengage the 3 claws to remove the rear seatback stop button grommet. |
|
3. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)
(a) for Sedan:
(1) Disengage the 2 fasteners.

(2) Open the 2 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

(3) Disengage the 5 hooks. |
|
(4) w/ Removable Headrest:
-
Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 rear seat headrest supports as shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction
(5) Remove the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH from the separate type rear seatback cover with pad as shown in the illustration.

4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)
(a) for Hatchback:
|
(1) Disengage the hook. |
|
(2) Open the 2 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

(3) Disengage the 5 claws. |
|
(4) Disengage the 2 guides to remove the rear seatback board sub-assembly LH.
5. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for LH Side)
(a) for Hatchback:
(1) except GR:
-
Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 rear seat headrest supports as shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction
(2) for GR:
-
Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 rear seat headrest supports as shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction
(3) Remove the separate type rear seatback cover with pad from the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

6. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER (for LH Side)
(a) w/ Removable Headrest:
(1) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 10 claws and remove the separate type rear seatback cover from the separate type rear seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

(1) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 12 claws and remove the separate type rear seatback cover from the separate type rear seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON (for LH Side)
(a) for Sedan:
(1) Turn the rear seatback lock release button counterclockwise and remove it.

8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)
(a) for Hatchback:
|
(1) Remove the 2 bolts and rear seatback lock assembly LH. |
|
(b) for Sedan:
|
(1) Remove the 2 nuts and rear seatback lock assembly LH. |

9. REMOVE CENTER ARMREST HINGE COVER (for RH Side)
(a) for Hatchback:
(1) Disengage the claw.

(2) Disengage the pin and remove the center armrest hinge cover as shown in the illustration.
10. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT ARMREST CAP (for RH Side)
(a) for Sedan, with Armrest:
|
(1) Disengage the 4 claws to remove the No. 1 seat armrest cap. |

11. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)
(a) w/ Armrest:
|
(1) Remove the bolt and washer or bush. |
|
(2) Disengage the pin and remove the rear seat center armrest assembly as shown in the illustration.

12. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGE COVER (for RH Side)
(a) for Sedan, with Armrest:
(1) Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration to remove the rear seatback hinge cover.

13. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)
(a) w/ Armrest:
(1) Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides as shown in the illustration to remove the rear seat center armrest cup holder sub-assembly.

14. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER SHOULDER BELT GUIDE (for RH Side)
(a) for Sedan:
|
(1) Remove the 2 screws. |
|
(2) Disengage the guide and remove the rear seat center shoulder belt guide.
15. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK UPPER LOCK BEZEL RH (for RH Side)
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
16. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER (for RH Side)
(a) for Hatchback:
|
(1) Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the rear seat shoulder belt cover. |
|
17. REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP (for RH Side)
(a) for Hatchback:
(1) Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat belt anchor cover cap as shown in the illustration.

18. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)
(a) for Hatchback:

(1) Disengage the hook. |
|
(2) Open the 2 fasteners as shown in the illustration.

|
(4) Disengage the 2 guides to remove the rear seatback board sub-assembly RH.
19. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)
(a) for Sedan:
(1) Disengage the 3 fasteners.

22. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER (for RH Side)
(a) w/ Removable Headrest:

(2) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 10 claws and remove the separate type rear seatback cover from the separate type rear seatback pad RH as shown in the illustration.

25. REMOVE CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT COVER
HINT:
Use the same procedure for all of the child restraint seat covers.

(1) Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the child restraint seat cover as shown in the illustration.

26. REMOVE CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT BASE COVER

28. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER (for Gasoline Model)
(a) for Hatchback except GR:
(1) Disengage the 4 hooks.
(2) Disengage the 17 hooks and remove the rear seat cushion under cover.
(3) Disengage the 6 hooks.
(b) for Hatchback, GR:
(1) Disengage the 3 hooks.
(2) Disengage the 3 hooks.
(3) Disengage the 9 hooks to remove the rear seat cushion under cover.
(4) Disengage the 6 hooks.
(c) for Sedan:
(1) for Type A:

Disengage the hook.

(d) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 16 claws and remove the bench type rear seat cushion cover from the rear seat cushion pad sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

(1) Disengage the hook.

(c) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 16 claws and remove the bench type rear seat cushion cover from the rear seat cushion pad sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
