PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (w/ No. 2 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor)
(a) Drain the engine coolant (for Engine).

(b) Disconnect the No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor connector. |
|
(c) Disengage the clamp.
|
(d) Remove the clip and No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor from the radiator pipe. NOTICE: If the No. 2 engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it. |

2. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
(a) Remove the EGR valve assembly.

(b) Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector. |
|
|
(c) Using SST, remove the engine coolant temperature sensor from the water outlet. SST: 09817-33191 NOTICE: If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it. |

(d) Remove the gasket from the engine coolant temperature sensor.
|
|
