C11782A
|
Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" (2WD) Signal Stuck In Range
|
DESCRIPTION
The airbag sensor assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) memorizes the range of the acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) and the range of vehicle speed calculated using each speed sensor.
If the range of the acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) and the range of vehicle speed calculated using each speed sensor are judged to be abnormal when compared to their past memorized range, this DTC is stored.

Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" (2WD) Signal Stuck In Range
|
From the time the vehicle starts off until it stops, the longitudinal acceleration sensor value fluctuates 0.5 m/s2 or less during acceleration/deceleration between 1.47 m/s2 and 12 m/s2 , or the value always remains 36% or less of vehicle acceleration for 1 to 2 seconds.*

*: Varies depending on the vehicle driving conditions.
PROCEDURE
1.
|
REPLACE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
|
