INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY LH

Component without harness connected

(Rear Combination Light Lens and Body LH)

(a) Illumination Inspection

(1) Install the rear combination light code LH.

(2) Apply battery voltage to the rear combination light lens and body LH and check that the lights illuminate.

OK:

Condition

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → Terminal O43-2 (TL)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal O43-3 (E)

Taillight and side marker light illuminate

Battery positive (+) → Terminal O43-1 (STP)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal O43-3 (E)

Stop light illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light lens and body LH.

2. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LENS AND BODY RH

(Rear Combination Light Lens and Body RH)

(a) Illumination Inspection

(1) Install the rear combination light code RH.

(2) Apply battery voltage to the rear combination light lens and body RH and check that the lights illuminate.

OK:

Condition

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → Terminal O42-2 (TL)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal O42-3 (E)

Taillight and side marker light illuminate

Battery positive (+) → Terminal O42-1 (STP)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal O42-3 (E)

Stop light illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light lens and body RH.

3. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LED

(a) Illumination Inspection

(1) Apply battery voltage to the rear combination light LED and check that the lights illuminate.

OK:

Condition

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (B)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (E)

Turn signal light illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light LED.

4. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LED LH

(a) Illumination Inspection

(1) Apply battery voltage to the rear combination light LED LH and check that the lights illuminate.

OK:

Battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (STP)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (E)

Stop light illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light LED LH.

5. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT LED RH

(a) Illumination Inspection

(1) Apply battery voltage to the rear combination light LED RH and check that the lights illuminate.

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1 (E)

Stop light illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light LED RH.
