REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly removal/installation are shown below.
NOTICE:
After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

HINT:
When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

24. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK OPEN LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(b) Disengage the guide and disconnect the fuel lid lock open lever sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

(c) Disconnect the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly and remove the fuel lid lock open lever sub-assembly.

25. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID LOCK RETAINER
(a) Rotate the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer as shown in the illustration to align the cutouts and the guides (A), and then pull the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer.

(b) Rotate the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer as shown in the illustration to align the cutouts and the guides (B), and then pull the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer.

(c) Pull out the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer with both the guides (B) and guides (C) aligned with the cutouts as shown in the illustration.

(d) Disengage the 2 claws to remove the fuel filler opening lid lock retainer as shown in the illustration.

26. REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Turn back the floor carpet so that the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly can be removed.
(b) Disengage each clamp and remove the fuel lid lock control cable sub-assembly.
