HINT:
When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the starter assembly connector. |

(b) Open the terminal cap. |
|
(c) Remove the nut to disconnect the wire harness from terminal 30.
|
(d) Remove the 2 bolts and starter assembly. |
