REMOVAL
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during flow shutting valve (water valve) removal/installation are shown below.
NOTICE:
When replacing the battery, use a new battery of the same dimensions and same capacity or more from the same class at a 20-hour rate.
HINT:
When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

PROCEDURE
1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Fully Sealed Type)

5. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Non-Fully Sealed Type)

6. REMOVE FLOW SHUTTING VALVE (WATER VALVE)
(a) Disconnect the flow shutting valve (water valve) connector.

(b) Remove the bolt to disconnect the flow shutting valve (water valve).

(c) Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 3 water by-pass hose from the flow shutting valve (water valve).

(d) Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose from the flow shutting valve (water valve).
