PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR (for Driver Side)
|
(a) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the connector. |
|
(b) Disengage the seat slide position sensor protector from the pin of the seat position airbag sensor as shown in the illustration.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

3. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER
|
(a) Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover. |
|
4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT FRONT CUSHION SHIELD LH
|
(a) Remove the clip. |
|
(b) Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration.
|

(c) Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.
|
|
Remove in this Direction |
|
(d) Disengage the 3 guides to remove the front seat front cushion shield LH. |
|
5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
|
(a) Disengage the 2 claws. |
|
|
(b) Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides. |
|
(c) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

(d) Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration.

(e) Disconnect the front power seat switch connector to remove the front seat cushion shield LH. |
|
(f) w/ Lower Seat Track Spacer:
|
(1) Disengage the claw and 2 guides to remove the lower No. 3 seat track spacer from the front seat cushion shield LH. |
|
6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH
|
(a) Disengage the 2 claws. |
|
(b) Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield LH as shown in the illustration.

(c) w/ Lower Seat Track Spacer:
|
(1) Disengage the claw and 2 guides to remove the lower No. 4 seat track spacer from the front seat inner cushion shield LH. |
|
7. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB
|
(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob. |
|
8. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB
|
(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob. |
|
9. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER SHIELD CLAMP BRACKET LH
|
(a) Remove the 2 screws and seat adjuster shield clamp bracket LH from the front seat cushion shield LH. |
|
10. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH

11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
|
(a) Disengage the 2 hooks. |
|
|
(b) Disconnect the connector. |
|
(c) Disengage the clamp.
(d) w/ Seat Heater System:
|
(1) Disconnect the front seatback heater assembly LH connector. |
|
(2) Disengage the clamp.
|
(e) Disengage the claw and 4 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly LH wire harness. HINT: Disengage the 4 clamps first. |
|
|
(f) Remove the 4 bolts. |
|
(g) Disengage the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.
12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
|
(a) Disengage the 3 hooks. |
|
(b) w/ Seat Heater System:
|
(1) Disengage the clamp. |
|
|
(c) Open the 2 fasteners. |
|
(d) for Sports Seat Type:
(1) Disengage the 5 clips and remove the bezel as shown in the illustration.

(e) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports. |

13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD
(a) Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.
14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER
(a) for Standard Seat Type:
(1) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 14 claws and remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Lumbar Support)

(a) Disengage the 2 claws to separate the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the front seatback frame sub-assembly LH. |
|
(b) Remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly LH from the front seatback frame sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

18. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Lumbar Support)

19. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK FELT LH (w/ Lumbar Support)
(a) Remove the front seatback felt LH from the lumbar support adjuster assembly LH.
20. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR
(a) w/o Lumbar Support:
(1) Remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the front seatback spring sub-assembly LH.
(b) w/ Lumbar Support:
(1) Remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the lumbar support adjuster assembly LH.
21. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEATBACK HOOK
|
(a) Remove the 2 front No. 2 seatback hooks from the front seatback frame sub-assembly LH. |
|
22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE LH
|
(a) Disconnect the connector. |
|
(b) Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the front seat No. 2 wire LH.
23. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD
(a) w/ Seat Heater System:
|
(1) Disconnect the connector. |
|
(2) Disengage the clamp to separate the front seat cushion heater assembly LH wire harness.
(b) Disengage the 10 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.
24. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER
(a) for Standard Seat Type:
(1) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 12 claws and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad as shown in the illustration.

26. REMOVE LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Disengage the claw. |

(b) Disengage the 4 claws to remove the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH. |
|
27. REMOVE LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH
|
(a) Disengage the 4 claws to remove the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover RH. |
|
28. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH
|
(a) Disengage the hook. |
|
(b) Disengage the claw and guide to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.
29. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH
|
(a) Disengage the hook. |
|
(b) Disengage the claw and guide to remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.
30. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH
(a) Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire LH.
31. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 3 WIRE LH
|
(a) Disengage the claw to remove the front seat No. 3 wire LH. |
|
32. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
|
(a) Disengage the 6 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly LH from the front seat adjuster assembly LH. |
|
33. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WIRE HARNESS HOLDER LH
|
(a) Remove the 2 screws. |
|
(b) Disengage the 2 claws.
|

(c) Disengage the guide to remove the front seat cushion wire harness holder LH as shown in the illustration.
34. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Disengage the claw. |
|
(b) Disengage the guide to remove the front seat lower cushion shield.

35. REMOVE SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER LH
(a) Disengage the 4 claws to remove the seat track upper rail cover LH as shown in the illustration.

HINT:
Use the same procedure for both sides.
36. REMOVE SEAT TRACK UPPER NO. 3 COVER
(a) Disengage the 4 claws to remove the seat track upper No. 3 cover as shown in the illustration.

37. REMOVE POWER SEAT LIFTER MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH
