ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT EXHAUST PIPE GAS CONTROL ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
(b) Start the engine.
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Active Test / Control the Exhaust Exterior Valve Angle.

(e) Confirm that exhaust gas is replaced by 3 systems from 2 systems.

If the result is not as specified, inspect the exhaust pipe gas control actuator sub-assembly and exhaust tailpipe assembly.
