CUSTOMIZE THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM

NOTICE:

When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

HINT:

The following items can be customized.

(a) Customizing with the GTS

(1) Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

(2) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(3) Turn the GTS on.

(4) Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Security.

(5) Select the setting by referring to the table below.

Warning by Horn Function	This function is used to enable or disable the warning by horn.	ON	$00:Disable,$01:Enable	Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
Security Control with Mechanism Key Function	This function makes it possible to cancel the security alarm with the mechanical key.*	OFF	$00:Disable,$01:Enable	Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)

*: for vehicles displaying the Item "Security Control with Mechanism Key Function" on the GTS

(6) Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Wireless Door Lock.

(7) Select the setting by referring to the table below.

Panic Function	This function makes it possible to operate the theft deterrent system by continuously pressing the panic switch on the key for 0.8 seconds	ON	0:OFF,1:ON	Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)
