REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during telephone and GPS antenna cord removal/installation are shown below.

NOTICE:
After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

HINT:
When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

Perform door unlock operation with door control switch or electrical key transmitter sub-assembly switch.

PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Hatchback)

2. REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (for Hatchback)
Click here
3. REMOVE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORD (for Hatchback)
(a) Disconnect the washer hose.
HINT:
Use a container to collect the windshield washer fluid.

(b) Disengage the 2 clamps.
(c) for Normal Roof:
(1) Disconnect the connector.
|
|
(2) Disengage the 4 clamps.
(d) for Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic Roof:
(1) Disconnect the connector.
|
|
(2) Remove the bolt.
(3) Disengage the 4 clamps.
(e) Disconnect the washer hose.
HINT:
Use a container to collect the windshield washer fluid.

|
(f) Disengage the 8 claws to separate the 2 grommets.
|
|
(g) Remove the telephone and GPS antenna cord.
4. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Sedan)

5. REMOVE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORD (for Sedan)
(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Disengage the 5 clamps to remove the telephone and GPS antenna cord.
