INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Temporarily install the generator assembly.
(b) Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, install the 2 stud bolts.
Torque:
9.8 N·m {100 kgf·cm, 87 in·lbf}
(c) Install the generator assembly with the bolt and 2 nuts.
Torque:
25 N·m {255 kgf·cm, 18 ft·lbf}
(d) Connect the engine wire to terminal B with the nut.
Torque:
9.8 N·m {100 kgf·cm, 87 in·lbf}
(e) Close the terminal cap.
(f) Connect the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.
Torque:
10 N·m {102 kgf·cm, 7 ft·lbf}
(g) Connect the 3 connectors.
2. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

3. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
(a) Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal and tighten the nut.
Torque:
5.4 N·m {55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf}
(b) for Type A:
(1) Install spare wheel cushion.

5. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

6. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING BATTERY TERMINAL
HINT:
When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
