DESCRIPTION
The airbag sensor assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) via CAN communication.

PROCEDURE

CLEAR DTC |
(a) Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Operate the GTS to clear the codes. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake / Trouble Codes.
Chassis > Brake/EPB > Clear DTCs
(d) Press the DTC clear button.
(e) Turn the engine switch off.

RECONFIRM DTC |
(a) Start and idle the engine for 60 seconds, and then stop the engine.
(b) Read the DTCs following the prompts on the GTS. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake / Trouble Codes.
Chassis > Brake/EPB > Trouble Codes
(c) Check if the same DTC is output.
