SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The TCM changes between Normal, Sport and Eco drive mode in accordance with the output of the drive mode select switch (combination switch assembly).

PROCEDURE
1.

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (DRIVE MODE SELECT SWITCH (DMS+) AND DRIVE MODE SELECT SWITCH (DMS-))
|
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List.
(e) According to the display on the Techstream, read the Data List.

(a) Disconnect the I61 combination switch assembly connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
