Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Voltage Out of Range
|
-
When the vehicle is being driven in a straight line at a speed of 20 km/h (12 mph) or more and VSC/TRAC has permission to control vehicle braking, one of the following conditions is met when the difference between the highest wheel speed and the lowest wheel speed is 6% or more*1 for between 9 and 72 seconds or more (period changes depending on vehicle conditions):
-
When the difference between the highest wheel speed and the second highest wheel speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or more, the wheel speed is high compared to other speed sensors.
-
The value of the wheel speed is continuously the slowest.
-
When the wheel speed is less than 5 km/h (3 mph).
-
When the vehicle speed is less than 100 km/h (62 mph), one of the following conditions is met when the difference between the highest wheel speed and the lowest wheel speed is 6 km/h (4 mph) or more*2 for between 9 and 72 seconds or more (period changes depending on vehicle conditions):
-
When the difference between the highest wheel speed and the second highest wheel speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or more, the wheel speed is high compared to other speed sensors.

The lowest speed sensor value is a certain value or more, and the difference between the lowest speed sensor value and the highest speed sensor value is a certain value or more.
-
The lowest speed sensor value is a certain value or less, the difference between the lowest speed sensor value and the highest speed sensor value is a certain value or more, the second highest speed sensor value is a certain value or more, the rear left speed sensor value is the highest speed, and the difference between the highest speed sensor value and the second highest speed sensor value is more than the difference between the second highest speed sensor value and the lowest speed sensor value.
-
The rear left speed sensor value is the lowest value and the difference between the third highest speed sensor value and lowest speed sensor value is more than the difference between the highest speed sensor value and the third highest speed sensor value.
-
The rear left speed sensor value is a certain value or less.
C050D (Case 3):
-
When the vehicle speed is less than a certain value or the vehicle is being driven straight and any of the following conditions are met, the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) illuminates the MIL and stores this DTC.

CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN
NOTICE:
When performing the normal judgment procedure, make sure that the driver door is closed and is not opened at any time during the procedure.
HINT:
-
After repair has been completed, clear the DTC and then check that the vehicle has returned to normal by performing the following All Readiness check procedure.
-
When clearing the permanent DTCs, refer to the "CLEAR PERMANENT DTC" procedure.
-
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
-
Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.
-
Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
-
Turn the ignition switch off.
-
Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY) and turn the GTS on.
-
Wait for 1 second or more. [*]
HINT:
[*]: Normal judgment procedure.
The normal judgment procedure is used to complete DTC judgment and also used when clearing permanent DTCs.
-
Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake/EPB* / Utility / All Readiness.
*: Electric Parking Brake System
-
Check the DTC judgment result.
HINT:
-
If the judgment result shows NORMAL, the system is normal.
-
If the judgment result shows ABNORMAL, the system has a malfunction.
-
If the judgment result shows INCOMPLETE, perform driving pattern again.
