INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

When installing the fuel vapor feed hose, hold the purge valve body securely in place by hand.

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL PURGE VALVE (PURGE VSV)

(a) Engage the guide and install the purge valve (purge VSV) to the air cleaner cap with air cleaner hose.

(b) Connect the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV) and slide the clip to secure it.

HINT:

Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.

(c) Connect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose to the purge valve (purge VSV) and slide the clip to secure it.

HINT:

Engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.

(d) Engage the wire harness clamp and connect the engine wire.

(e) Connect the purge valve (purge VSV) connector.
