INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL FLOW SHUTTING VALVE (WATER VALVE)
(a) Connect the No. 4 water by-pass hose to the flow shutting valve (water valve) and slide the clip to secure it.

NOTICE:
- Make sure to align the paint mark of the No. 4 water by-pass hose with the protrusion of the flow shutting valve (water valve).
- Make sure to slide the No. 4 water by-pass hose until it contacts the hose stopper of the flow shutting valve (water valve).
- Make sure that the tabs of the clip are within the area shown in the illustration.
(b) Connect the No. 3 water by-pass hose to the flow shutting valve (water valve) and slide the clip to secure it.

NOTICE:
- Make sure to align the paint mark of the No. 3 water by-pass hose with the protrusion of the flow shutting valve (water valve).
- Make sure to slide the No. 3 water by-pass hose until it contacts the hose stopper of the flow shutting valve (water valve).
- Make sure that the tabs of the clip are within the area shown in the illustration.
(c) Connect the flow shutting valve (water valve) with the bolt.
Torque:
19 N·m {194 kgf·cm, 14 ft·lbf}
(d) Connect the flow shutting valve (water valve) connector.
2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Fully Sealed Type)

7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
