NOTICE:
After the ignition switch is turned off, the radio and display receiver assembly records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch off, make sure to wait at least 85 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. (for Navigation System and Audio and Visual System (for Gasoline Model))

3. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH

5. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER RH

6. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CENTER BRACE

7. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst)

8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR
(a) Remove 3 nuts and front No. 1 floor heat insulator from the vehicle body.

9. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

10. REMOVE FLOOR SHIFT TRANSMISSION CONTROL SELECT CABLE
(a) Move the shift lever to N.
(b) Disconnect the floor shift transmission control select cable from the transmission floor shift assembly.

(c) Rotate the lock nut counterclockwise approximately 180° and, while holding the lock nut in that position, disconnect the floor shift transmission control select cable from the transmission floor shift assembly.
NOTICE:
Do not forcibly pull the floor shift transmission control select cable into the cabin.

(d) While disengaging the clip as shown in the illustration, disconnect the floor shift transmission control select cable from the transmission control shaft lever together with the clip.

(e) Remove the clip and disconnect the floor shift transmission control select cable from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.
|
|
(f) Remove the nut and disconnect the floor shift transmission control select cable from the vehicle body.
|
|
(g) Remove the 2 nuts and floor shift transmission control select cable from the vehicle body.
