  • After the ignition switch is turned off, the radio and display receiver assembly records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch off, make sure to wait at least 85 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 85 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. (for Navigation System)

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

2. REMOVE ECM

3. REMOVE BATTERY

4. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

(b) Remove the clip and engine coolant temperature sensor from the water outlet.

NOTICE:

If the engine coolant temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
