ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT MASS AIR FLOW METER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Mass Air Flow Sensor.

(e) Blow air into the mass air flow meter sub-assembly and check that the value of Mass Air Flow Sensor fluctuates.

The value changes.
If the result is not as specified, clean the mass air flow meter sub-assembly.
