REMOVAL
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
- The following procedure is for the LH side.
PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT COVER
(a) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the rear combination light cover as shown in the illustration.

2. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Apply protective tape around the rear combination light assembly as shown in the illustration.

(b) Remove the 2 screws. |
|
(c) Pull the rear combination light assembly toward the rear of the vehicle as shown in the illustration to disengage the pin and 3 guides and separate the rear combination light assembly.

NOTICE:
To prevent the rear combination light assembly from falling when disengaging the pin and guides, make sure to hold the rear combination light assembly.

(d) Disengage the clamp. |
|
(e) for Bulb Type Rear Side Marker Light:
(1) Turn the rear combination light cord with the rear turn signal light bulb as shown in the illustration to disconnect them as a unit.

(2) Turn the rear combination light cord with the rear side marker light bulb as shown in the illustration to disconnect them as a unit.
(3) Disconnect the connector to remove the rear combination light assembly.
(f) for LED Type Rear Side Marker Light:
(1) Turn the rear combination light cord with the rear turn signal light bulb as shown in the illustration to disconnect them as a unit.

(2) Disconnect the 3 connectors to remove the rear combination light assembly.
3. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT CORD
|
(a) Remove the 3 clips. |
|
(b) Turn back the luggage compartment trim cover assembly as shown in the illustration.

(c) Disconnect the connector.

(d) Disengage the grommet to remove the rear combination light cord. |
