INSTALLATION

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install a new rear seat cushion lock hook as shown in the illustration.

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

Install in this Direction

2. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Gasoline Model)

(a) Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Engage the rear seat cushion frame hook on the rear side of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration.

*a	Rear Seat Cushion Frame Hook (Front Side)
*b	Rear Seat Cushion Frame Hook (Rear Side)
	Install in this Direction (1)
	Install in this Direction (2)

(c) Engage the 2 rear seat cushion frame hooks on the front side of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration to install the rear seat cushion assembly.

NOTICE:

Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is securely installed.

3. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for HV Model)

(a) Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Connect the connector.

(c) Engage the rear seat cushion frame hook on the rear side of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration.

	Install in this Direction (1)
	Install in this Direction (2)

(d) Engage the 2 rear seat cushion frame hooks on the front side of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration to install the rear seat cushion assembly.

NOTICE:

Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is securely installed.

(e) w/ Seat Heater System:

(1) Connect the 2 connectors and engage the 2 clamps.

4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Place the rear seatback assembly RH in the cabin.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Engage the 2 guides.

(c) Temporarily install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

(d) Fully tighten the bolt (A), and then the bolt (B) to install the rear seatback assembly RH.

Torque:

36.8 N·m {375 kgf·cm, 27 ft·lbf}

(e) Engage the 2 fasteners.

(f) Return the rear seatback assembly RH to its original position.

(g) for Sedan:

(1) Pass the rear seat center lap type belt assembly through the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

5. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Place the rear seatback assembly LH in the cabin.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Engage the 2 guides.

(c) Temporarily install the rear seatback assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

(d) Fully tighten the bolt (A), and then the bolt (B) to install the rear seatback assembly LH.

Torque:

36.8 N·m {375 kgf·cm, 27 ft·lbf}

(e) Engage the 2 fasteners.

(f) Return the rear seatback assembly LH to its original position.

6. CONNECT REAR SEAT CENTER LAP TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the rear seat center lap type belt assembly as shown in the illustration.

7. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Hatchback)

(a) Install the rear seat center headrest assembly.

8. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (w/ Removable Headrest)

(a) Install the 2 rear seat headrest assemblies.
