PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

3. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
4. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

5. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
8. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH LH

9. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH RH

10. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT SET

13. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT HOLE COVER

15. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER

16. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

17. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH

18. REMOVE FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU
(a) Disconnect the 2 fuel pump control ECU connectors.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and fuel pump control ECU from the vehicle body.
NOTICE:
Do not reuse the fuel pump control ECU if it has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact.
HINT:
If a malfunction such as pump lock occurs and the fuel pump is damaged, excessive current may be continuously applied to the fuel pump control ECU, damaging its internal parts. Make sure to replace the fuel pump control ECU at the same time when replacing the fuel pump.
19. REMOVE FUEL PUMP CONTROL ECU BRACKET
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and fuel pump control ECU bracket from the fuel pump control ECU.
NOTICE:
Do not reuse the fuel pump control ECU if it has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact.
