NOTICE:

After the ignition switch is turned off, the radio and display receiver assembly records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch off, make sure to wait at least 85 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. (for Audio and Visual System (for Gasoline Model))

After the engine switch is turned off, the radio and display receiver assembly records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 85 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. (for Navigation System)
PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

2. LOOSEN NO. 1 WIRE ADJUSTING NUT
(a) Release the parking brake lever lock and return it to its off position.
(b) Loosen the No. 1 wire adjusting nut.

3. REMOVE NO. 1 INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET
(a) Remove the 4 bolts and No. 2 console box mounting bracket.

5. SEPARATE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
(a) Separate the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly from the parking brake lever sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

6. SEPARATE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
HINT:
Perform the same procedure as for the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.
7. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and parking brake lever sub-assembly.
