NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the radio and display receiver assembly records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 85 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. (for Audio and Visual System (for HV Model))

1. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

5. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR CAUTION PLATE COVER

6. DISCONNECT FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY

7. REMOVE VEHICLE APPROACHING SPEAKER CONTROLLER COVER
(a) Disengage the claw and 2 guides to remove the vehicle approaching speaker controller cover as shown in the illustration.

(b) Remove the 2 clips from the vehicle approaching speaker controller.
8. REMOVE VEHICLE APPROACHING SPEAKER CONTROLLER

(a) Remove the 2 bolts. |

|
(b) Disconnect the connector. |
|
(c) Disengage the clamp to remove the vehicle approaching speaker controller.
