REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

When removing the fuel vapor feed hose, hold the purge valve body securely in place by hand.

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE PURGE VALVE (PURGE VSV)

(a) Disconnect the purge valve (purge VSV) connector.

(b) Disengage the wire harness clamp and disconnect the engine wire.

(c) Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose from the purge valve (purge VSV).

(d) Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose from the purge valve (purge VSV).

(e) Disengage the guide and remove the purge valve (purge VSV) from the air cleaner cap with air cleaner hose.
