PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY
HINT:
This check should be performed with the windshield washer motor and pump assembly installed to the washer jar.
(a) for Front Washer:

(1) Fill the washer jar with washer fluid. |
|
(2) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the windshield washer motor and pump assembly and check that the washer fluid flows from the washer jar.
OK:

If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.
(b) for Rear Washer:

(1) Fill the washer jar with washer fluid. |
|
(2) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the windshield washer motor and pump assembly and check that the washer fluid flows from the washer jar.
OK:
