PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
(a) With the engine switch on (IG) and the wheels not contacting the ground, operate the electric parking brake switch (electric parking brake switch assembly) to check the condition of the rear wheels when the electric parking brake is operating and not operating.

(b) Pull the electric parking brake switch (electric parking brake switch assembly) to the lock side for approximately 1 second and check that the parking brake indicator light (red) turns on.
(c) Push the electric parking brake switch (electric parking brake switch assembly) to the release side for approximately 1 second and check that the parking brake indicator light (red) turns off.
(d) At this time, check that the brake warning light / yellow (minor malfunction) does not turn on.
