OPERATION CHECK

1. CHECK THERMOSTAT IN FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.

(b) Remove the front seatback heater assembly LH.

(c) Connect the B front seat cushion heater assembly LH connector and F front seatback heater assembly LH connector.

(d) Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the front seat heater according to the table below.

NOTICE:

To prevent the front seat heater from overheating, be sure to disconnect the battery from the front seat heater immediately after this inspection is completed.

Battery Connection

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → Terminal q1-1
  • Front seat cushion heater temperature 30 to 50°C (86 to 122°F)
  • Front seatback heater temperature 30 to 50°C (86 to 122°F)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal q1-2 and q1-3

2. CHECK THERMOSTAT IN FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the front seat cushion heater assembly RH.

(b) Remove the front seatback heater assembly RH.

(c) Connect the C front seat cushion heater assembly RH connector and G front seatback heater assembly RH connector.

(d) Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the front seat heater according to the table below.
