REMOVAL
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during battery state sensor assembly removal/installation are shown below.
HINT:
When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the auxiliary battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

2. REMOVE BATTERY STATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the clamp and battery state sensor assembly connector. |
|
|
(b) Remove the nut and disconnect the engine wire from the battery state sensor assembly. |
|
|
(c) Loosen the nut and remove the battery state sensor assembly from the auxiliary battery. |
|
|
(d) Disengage the 2 claws to remove the battery state sensor assembly from the battery current sensor holder. |
