DESCRIPTION
for HV Model:
- The forward recognition camera receives vehicle information (Conv/HV) from the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly via the CAN communication line.
- When the forward recognition camera is unable to determine the vehicle information (Conv/HV) from the vehicle information (Conv/HV) sent from the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly, the forward recognition camera outputs U030051.
- When the vehicle information (Conv/HV) sent from the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly does not match the vehicle information stored by the forward recognition camera, the forward recognition camera outputs U030057.
for Gasoline Model:
- The forward recognition camera receives vehicle information (Conv/HV) from the ECM via the CAN communication line.
- When the forward recognition camera is unable to determine the vehicle information (Conv/HV) from the vehicle information (Conv/HV) sent from the ECM, the forward recognition camera outputs U030051.
- When the vehicle information (Conv/HV) sent from the ECM does not match the vehicle information stored by the forward recognition camera, the forward recognition camera outputs U030057.

NOTICE:
- When replacing the forward recognition camera, always replace it with a new one. If a forward recognition camera which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the forward recognition camera will not match the information from the vehicle and a DTC may be stored.
-
When the forward recognition camera is replaced with a new one or the windshield glass is replaced or removed/installed, make sure to read Before Starting Adjustment, then perform optical axis alignment for the forward recognition camera and clear the vehicle control history for each system.
HINT:
Forward recognition camera axis alignment can be performed by using either One Time Recognition, Sequential Recognition or Driving Adjustment.

- When the specification stored by the forward recognition camera and the vehicle specification do not match, there is a malfunction in the specification information stored by the forward recognition camera. Therefore, replace the forward recognition camera.
- When the specification stored by the forward recognition camera and the vehicle specification match, a hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly with different specifications may be installed. Therefore, replace the hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly.
