INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (for LED Type Turn Signal Light)

(a) Inspect the headlight assembly LH.

(1) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination and motor operation condition.

OK:

Auxiliary Battery Connection

Specified Condition
If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit LH.

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (LO)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 8 (E)

Headlight illuminates

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 6 (HI)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 8 (E)

Shade Motor operates

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 3 (B)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 8 (E)

Parking, Side marker light illuminates

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 7 (B)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 8 (E)

Daytime running light illuminates

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 4 (B)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 2 (E)

Turn signal light illuminates

2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (for LED Type Turn Signal Light)

(1) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination and motor operation condition.

OK:

Specified Condition
If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit RH.

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (LO)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 8 (E)

Headlight illuminates

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 6 (HI)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 8 (E)

Shade Motor operates

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 3 (B)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 8 (E)

Parking, Side marker light illuminates

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 7 (B)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 8 (E)

Daytime running light illuminates

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 4 (B)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 2 (E)

Turn signal light illuminates

(a) Inspect the headlight assembly LH.

(1) Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination and motor operation condition.

Specified Condition
If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight unit LH.

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (LO)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 6 (E)

Headlight illuminates

Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 5 (HI)

Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 6 (E)
