DTC SUMMARY
MALFUNCTION DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when the rear motor control system is malfunctioning and current does not flow as commanded. The cause of this malfunction may be one of the following:

Rear motor system malfunction:
If current does not flow as commanded, the rear motor high voltage system may be malfunctioning.
Malfunction is detected when the vehicle is stopped or being driven at low speeds.

CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN
HINT:
After repair has been completed, clear the DTC and then check that the vehicle has returned to normal by performing the following All Readiness check procedure.

Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.
-
Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
-
Turn the ignition switch off and wait for 2 minutes or more.
-
Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.
-
Start the vehicle from a stop and drive the vehicle until the vehicle speed reaches approximately 10 km/h (6 mph). Repeat this procedure a few times.
-
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Rear Motor Generator / Utility / All Readiness.
-
Check the DTC judgment result.
HINT:
-
If the judgment result shows NORMAL, the system is normal.
-
If the judgment result shows ABNORMAL, the system has a malfunction.
-
If the judgment result shows INCOMPLETE, perform driving pattern again.

After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

HINT:
If an abnormality occurs after disconnecting and connecting the motor cable and HV floor under wire (rear traction motor cable), reconfirm the cable connection condition.
