If the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly [sliding roof]) is removed and reinstalled or replaced, the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly [sliding roof]) must be initialized.

The panoramic moon roof system uses the CAN and LIN communication system. First, confirm that there are no malfunctions in the CAN and LIN communication system. Refer to How to Proceed with Troubleshooting.

DTC B2343 is stored in the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly [sliding roof]).

HINT:

If DTC B2342 and B2343 are output simultaneously, perform troubleshooting for DTC B2342 first.

PROCEDURE

1.	INITIALIZE SLIDING ROOF ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY [SLIDING ROOF])

(a) Check that the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly [sliding roof]) can be initialized.

Sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly [sliding roof]) can be initialized.

GO TO STEP 4

2.	CHECK PANORAMIC MOON ROOF OPERATION

(a) Check the panoramic moon roof auto operation.

OK:

Auto operation operates normally.

REPLACE SLIDING ROOF ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY [SLIDING ROOF])

3.	CHECK DTC OUTPUT

(a) Clear the DTCs.

(a) Disconnect the P4 sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly [sliding roof]) connector.

(b) Disconnect the P20*1 or P14*2 map light sub-assembly connector.
