DESCRIPTION
This means that the DCM (telephone transceiver assembly) has detected a malfunction in the safety connect system and stored a DTC or specific vehicle control history (RoB) Code.

NOTICE:
Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance, performing initialization, registration or calibration may be needed. Refer to Precaution for Safety Connect System.

PROCEDURE
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 10 seconds or more.
(d) Turn the Techstream on.
(e) Clear the DTCs.

(f) Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

OK:
No DTCs are output.

REPLACE DCM (TELEPHONE TRANSCEIVER ASSEMBLY)

(a) Replace the DCM (telephone transceiver assembly) with a new one.
