CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN
HINT:
After repair has been completed, clear the DTC and then check that the vehicle has returned to normal by performing the following All Readiness check procedure.
-
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
-
Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.
-
Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
-
Turn the ignition switch off and wait for 2 minutes or more.
-
Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the Techstream on.
-
With ignition switch ON and wait for 5 seconds or more.
-
Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY) and wait for 5 seconds or more.
HINT:
Check that there are no abnormalities (abnormal sounds, coolant leaks, etc.).
-
With the vehicle stopped, begin moving with the accelerator opening angle between 20% to 50% and a speed of approximately 10 km/h (6 mph), then stop the vehicle and repeat the same procedure several times.
HINT:
While doing this, check that the "Rear Motor Torque" value does not remain at 0 N*m continuously, but rather changes to indicate that the rear motor is operating.
(Unless rear motor torque is restricted due to DTC output, the rear motor torque will not remain at 0 N*m continuously.)
-
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Rear Motor Generator / Utility / All Readiness.
-
Check the DTC judgment result.
HINT:
-
If the judgment result shows NORMAL, the system is normal.
-
If the judgment result shows ABNORMAL, the system has a malfunction.
-
If the judgment result shows INCOMPLETE, perform driving pattern again.
