PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER
(a) Detach the hook.
(1) for Gasoline Model:
(2) for HV Model:
(b) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the hook to remove the bench type rear seat cushion cover from the rear seat cushion pad as shown in the illustration.

Be careful not to dirty or damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.
HINT:
Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seat Heater System)
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 rear seat headrest assemblies.
5. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the rear center seat headrest assembly.
6. REMOVE REAR LOWER SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL LH (for LH Side)
(a) Using a moulding remover D, detach the claw.

(b) Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the rear lower seatback lock bezel LH.
7. REMOVE REAR UPPER SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL LH (for LH Side)
(a) Using a moulding remover D, detach the claw.

(b) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw on the rear side and remove the rear upper seatback lock bezel LH.
HINT:
Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.
8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

(a) Detach the hook. |

(b) Detach the hook. |

(c) Pull out the 2 fasteners from the hole of rear seatback board sub-assembly LH. |
|
(d) Open the 2 fasteners.
(e) Remove the clip.
|
(f) Remove the 2 clips. |
|
(g) Pull in the removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

(h) Pull in the removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the guide.
(i) Pull in the removal direction (3) shown in the illustration to detach the hook and remove the rear seatback board sub-assembly LH.
9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for LH Side)

(a) Detach the claw and remove the 2 rear seat headrest supports. |
|
(b) Remove the separate type rear seatback cover with pad from the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH.
10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER LH (for LH Side)
(a) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the hook to remove the separate type rear seatback cover LH from the separate type rear seatback pad LH as shown in the illustration.

11. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side, w/ Seat Heater System)

12. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

(a) Remove the 2 screws. |

(b) Remove the 3 bolts and rear seatback lock assembly LH. HINT: Remove the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly LH together with the rear seatback lock assembly LH. |

13. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)
|
(a) Detach the hook and remove the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly LH from the rear seatback lock assembly LH. |
|
14. REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP (for RH Side)
(a) Using a moulding remover D, detach the claw.

(b) Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the guide.
(c) Detach the guide to remove the seat belt anchor cover cap as shown in the illustration.

15. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER (for RH Side)
|
(a) Pass the rear center seat outer belt assembly from the slit and remove the rear seat shoulder belt cover. |

16. REMOVE REAR LOWER SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL RH (for RH Side)
(a) Using a moulding remover D, detach the claw.

(b) Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the rear lower seatback lock bezel RH.
17. REMOVE REAR UPPER SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL RH (for RH Side)
(a) Using a moulding remover D, detach the claw.

18. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

(a) Detach the hook. |

(c) Pull out the 2 fasteners from the hole of rear seatback board sub-assembly RH. |
|
(d) Open the 2 fasteners.
|
(e) Remove the 2 clips. |
|
(f) Pull in the removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

19. REMOVE CENTER ARMREST HINGE COVER (for RH Side)
(a) Fold the rear center seat armrest assembly forward.
(b) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw on the rear side.
HINT:
Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

(c) Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration and detach the claw and guide to remove the center armrest hinge cover.
20. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

(a) Remove the bolt and washer. |
|
(b) Return the rear center seat armrest assembly to rotate the outside location pin to the position as shown in the illustration.

21. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for RH Side)
|
(a) Detach the claw and remove the 4 rear seat headrest supports. |

|
(b) Detach the hook. |
|
|
(c) Pass the rear center seat outer belt assembly through the hole of separate type rear seatback cover with pad. |
|
(d) Remove the separate type rear seatback cover with pad from the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH.
22. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH (for RH Side)
(a) Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the hook to remove the separate type rear seatback cover RH from the separate type rear seatback pad RH as shown in the illustration.
