CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - GENERATOR ASSEMBLY) |
(a) Disconnect the C40 ECM connector.
(b) Disconnect the C46 generator assembly connector.
(c) Disconnect the A48 battery state sensor assembly connector.
(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

CLEAR DTC |
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
(e) Check for DTCs, and then write them down.
Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes
(f) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
(g) Clear the DTCs.
Powertrain > Engine > Clear DTCs
(h) Turn the ignition switch off and wait 30 seconds.

CHECK DTC OUTPUT |
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Start the engine.
(c) Allow the engine to idle for approximately 17 minutes or more.
(d) Turn the Techstream on.
(e) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
(f) Check for DTCs.
