- Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
- The procedure described below is for the LH side.
PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 FLOOR BOARD

3. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

4. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the rear side of the deck trim side panel assembly LH so that the connector of the rear combination light assembly LH can be disconnected.

6. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT COVER LH
(a) Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

(b) Place your hand at the location shown in the illustration and detach the claw to remove the rear combination light cover LH.
7. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Insert your hand between the deck trim side panel assembly LH and the body and disconnect the connector. |
|
(b) Apply protective tape around the rear combination light assembly LH.

(c) Remove the 2 screws. |
|
(d) Place your hand at the location shown in the illustration and pull the rear combination light assembly LH toward the rear of the vehicle to detach the pin and guide to disconnect it.
NOTICE:
Pull the rear combination light assembly LH straight towards the rear of the vehicle to prevent the guide from becoming damaged.

(e) Remove the grommet and pull out the wire harness.
