DESCRIPTION

for HV Model:

  • The forward recognition camera receives vehicle information from the hybrid vehicle control ECU via the CAN communication line. When the forward recognition camera is unable to determine the vehicle information from the vehicle information sent from the hybrid vehicle control ECU, the forward recognition camera outputs U030051.

    The forward recognition camera receives vehicle information from the hybrid vehicle control ECU via the CAN communication line. When the vehicle information sent from the hybrid vehicle control ECU does not match the vehicle information stored by the forward recognition camera, the forward recognition camera outputs U030057.

for Gasoline Model:

  • The forward recognition camera receives vehicle information from the ECM via the CAN communication line. When the forward recognition camera is unable to determine the vehicle information from the vehicle information sent from the ECM, the forward recognition camera outputs U030051.

    The forward recognition camera receives vehicle information from the ECM via the CAN communication line. When the vehicle information sent from the ECM does not match the vehicle information stored by the forward recognition camera, the forward recognition camera outputs U030057.

  • After 3 seconds or more have elapsed since turning the lane tracing assist system on and the ignition switch to ON, the vehicle information sent from the ECM continuously does not match the vehicle information stored by the forward recognition camera for approximately 5 seconds or more

If U030051 or U030057 is output by the lane tracing assist system, perform troubleshooting for the front camera system DTC U030051 or U030057.
