INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL OIL PRESSURE SENSOR (OIL PRESSURE SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY)

(a) Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the oil pressure sensor (oil pressure sender gauge assembly).

Adhesive:

Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1344, Three Bond 1344 or equivalent

NOTICE:

Do not apply adhesive to the oil inlet port of the oil pressure sensor (oil pressure sender gauge assembly).
Install the oil pressure sensor (oil pressure sender gauge assembly) within 3 minutes of applying adhesive.

(b) Using a 27 mm deep socket wrench, install the oil pressure sensor (oil pressure sender gauge assembly) to the cylinder block sub-assembly.

Torque:

15 N·m {153 kgf·cm, 11 ft·lbf}
