DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the ECM, steering angle sensor, yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly), airbag sensor assembly and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via CAN communication.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HEALTH CHECK)

(a) Clear the DTCs.

Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC/EPB > Clear DTCs

(b) Turn the engine switch off.

(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(d) Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.

(e) Check for DTCs.

Result

Proceed to

DTCs for related systems are output together with DTC U0073, U0100, U0123, U0126, U0142 or U0151.
