If the forward recognition camera detects a malfunction in the internal circuit of the driving support ECU assembly, DTC C1A01 is stored.

2 seconds after the engine switch is turned on (IG), a malfunction in the driving support ECU assembly internal circuit is detected for 5 seconds or more.

NOTICE:

When replacing the driving support ECU assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a driving support ECU assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the driving support ECU assembly will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.

The lane departure alert system (w/ steering control) uses the CAN communication system. First, confirm that there are no malfunctions in the CAN communication system. Refer to How to Proceed with Troubleshooting.
