PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK DTC OUTPUT

(a) Using the GTS, check for DTCs according to the prompts on the screen.

HINT:

After turning the ignition switch from off to ON, wait 10 seconds or more before checking for DTCs.

Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Trouble Codes

(b) Clear the DTCs according to the screen on the GTS.

Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Clear DTCs

(c) Recheck for DTCs.

Body Electrical > Clearance Warning > Trouble Codes

OK:

No DTCs are output.

HINT:

  • If CAN communication system DTCs are stored, they may also be stored in other systems.
  • If the CAN communication system has been inspected and repaired in other systems, the DTCs will not be output when rechecking for DTCs.
  • If these DTCs are output frequently, duplicate the conditions that caused the problem symptoms and perform troubleshooting again, even though DTCs were not output when rechecking for DTCs.
