DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side)

2. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

5. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Disconnect the 2 rubber bands of the separate type front seatback cover.

6. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE

(a) Operate the vertical adjusting handle and using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the vertical adjusting handle as shown in the illustration.

7. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

(a) Remove the reclining adjuster release handle as shown in the illustration.

8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws.

(c) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

(d) Disengage the guide to remove the front seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Disengage the guide to remove the front seat inner cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the claw to remove the front seat lower cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the hook.

(b) Disengage the claw and 3 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness. HINT: Disengage the 3 clamps first.

(c) Disengage the clamp.

(d) Disconnect the connector to separate the front seatback heater assembly wire harness.

(e) Remove the 4 bolts to remove the separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

(a) Open the 2 fasteners.

(b) Disengage the hook.

(c) Pass each wire harness through the hole of the separate type front seatback cover.

(d) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

14. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Remove the 10 hog rings to remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

15. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY

16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 8 hooks to remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

18. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SEATBACK HOOK

(a) Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the 2 front No. 2 seatback hooks from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

19. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Disengage the wire harness clamp. (w/ Wire Harness Clamp)

(b) Disengage the 4 clamps.

(c) Disconnect the connector to separate the front seat cushion heater assembly wire harness.

(d) Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

20. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Remove the 2 hog rings.

(b) Remove the 13 hog rings, disengage the 2 fasteners and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY

22. REMOVE LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER

(a) Disengage the 2 guides to remove the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover.

23. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the claw and guide.

(c) Disengage the hook to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side)

(a) Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat adjuster assembly to the rearmost position.

(b) Disengage the hook.

(c) Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the hook.

(c) Disengage the claw and guide to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Front Passenger Side)

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the front seat lower cushion shield LH (for Driver Side).

27. REMOVE LH SEAT SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER (for Driver Side)

(a) Disengage the 2 claws to remove the LH seat seat track upper rail cover as shown in the illustration.

28. REMOVE RH SEAT SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER (for Front Passenger Side)

29. REMOVE SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER LH

(a) Operate the seat track adjusting handle and move the front seat adjuster assembly to the foremost position.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws to remove the seat track upper rail cover LH as shown in the illustration.

30. REMOVE SEAT TRACK UPPER RAIL COVER RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

31. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE

(a) Disengage the claw and clamp to remove the front seat wire. HINT: Disengage the clamp first.

32. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 8 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly.

33. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 screws and front seat cushion panel sub-assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly.
